Bachelor's Programme in Nuclear Engineering
The programme is a one year advanced training leading to a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in nuclear power technology, which is a vocational degree. The programme may be studied by someone who has previously studied at least two years of a university or Master’s engineering programme. In the education is included courses in nuclear power relevant subjects like light water reactor technology, materials and nuclear fuel technology, steam turbine technology, nuclear power security, electric power technology and project management. The programme ends with a degree project carried out in industry. The education gives the opportunity to work as an engineer within nuclear power industry.
Teacher Education Programme in Physics and Mathematics
The education leads to a teacher degree with a focus on work in upper secondary school. Depending on which subjects you have in your exam there is also the opportunity to work in elementary school grades 7–9.
