Galactic transients widely known as 'red novae' are thought to be stellar-merger eruptions. Before the two non-compact stars coalesce, the system goes through the common envelope phase and loses mass. Red nova outburst are also associated with mass ejections resulting in complex circumstellar remnants. I am going to present and discuss new interferometric observations of a few Galactic red-nova remnants. They shed light on physical processes taking place before and after the merger including mass and angular-momentum loss, dust formation, and complex chemistry.
