Molecule-surface interactions

Metalorganic molecules with magnetic centers deposited on surfaces are investigated to understand the adsorption and magnetic properties. Spin-dipole moments, magnetic anisotropy, dynamical electron correlation effects, van der Waals interactions etc. are in the focus of our study. The theoretical investigations are strongly coupled to XMCD and photoemission experiments.
