Welcome to the 1st Trieste-Uppsala meeting (TUMPES).

The aim of this workshop is to enlighten the scientific activity carried out since 2012 at the Gas Phase Photoemission beamline (Elettra, Trieste, Italy), within the research agreement between CNR  (Italian National Research Council, Istituto Officina dei Materiali, Trieste) and Uppsala University (division of Molecular and Condensed Matter Physics, Dept. of Physics and Astronomy).

The goal is to summarize the main results achieved in this Italo-Swedish bilateral collaboration, to discuss hot topics and future perspectives in photoemission and electron spectroscopy studies of Donor-Acceptor molecular systems, as well as to identify new areas of activities for our collaboration.
